Titania black suspension lamp Italian postmodern by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto for Luceplan

The classic design by the Italian manufacturer Luceplan, based on a creation by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto from the late 1980s. Here in the rare black version. The body of the lamp consists of a thin aluminium frame serving as a reflector, shaped like a wing. The light source is located at the centre of the wing. The colour of the lamp can be customised with different pairs of coloured filters that tint the aluminium ribs, while a white light emanates from the centre. The lamp is suspended by a transparent plastic cord to give the impression of floating. The suspension is designed like a swing with a weight ball suspended in the centre, allowing for height and tilt adjustments. Mounting plate, canopy, and ball are included. The set with colour filters is complete. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear.
