Splendid and rare three-light cluster pendant, model "Globe" (reference B-1259 / D-2000), designed by the designer Frank Ligtelijn in the 1960s for the famous Dutch publisher Raak Amsterdam. This iconic version of Space Age design consists of three beautiful spheres made of smoked blown glass in an elegant brown-grey hue (produced by the German glass manufacturer Peill & Putzler). Inside each globe is a perforated aluminium directional reflector that conceals the bulb and projects a soft, diffused light, creating a stunning geometric play of light when illuminated. The whole is elegantly connected by an original solid wood V-shaped separator, characteristic of the brand's high-end "bar chandelier" installations, allowing for a harmonious descent of the three white cables. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The blown glass shows no chips, cracks, or scratches. The internal aluminium reflectors are clean, and the entire structure is sound. The electricity is functional (standard E27 sockets). A statement piece ready to be installed above a dining table or in an entrance. Features: Designer: Frank Ligtelijn Publisher: Raak Amsterdam (Netherlands) Period: 1960s / Mid-Century Modern / Space Age Materials: Smoked blown glass, brushed aluminium, wood structure, white PVC cables. Type of bulbs: 3 X E27 (not included, silver cap bulbs recommended for period effect).
