Modular sofa "Can Can" by Luciano Frigerio for Frigerio Di Desio – 1960s

Magnificent modular sofa "Can Can" designed by Luciano Frigerio for Frigerio Di Desio in the 1960s. It consists of 9 elements: 6 seats and 3 triangular modules that form an ottoman or an additional seat. The uniqueness of this sofa lies in its beautiful sculptural and brutalist backrest, made from wooden slats with spectacular shapes as seen in the photos. This sofa is in its original condition, with the seats and structures unaltered. The beautiful fabric/tweed featuring a gradient of colours in shades of yellow is original. It is in very good vintage condition, with no major damage or missing parts; however, it does show some signs of wear related to the passage of time and the object's life. The seat cushions are removable and replaceable. Please note that the seats are rather "soft, " quite plush and not firm. The dimensions provided are for the armchair itself and do not include the ottoman.
