Ancient earthenware jug with a glazed finish, a handcrafted piece with raw and mineral charm, featuring a magnificent deep brown speckled patina on a sandy background. This vernacular ceramic evokes traditional Mediterranean productions from the 19th or early 20th century, with irregular firing that offers an almost abstract appearance, highly sought after today in wabi-sabi, brutalist, or refined country house settings. Its generous and organic silhouette, combined with a highly textured material, makes it a true sculptural decorative piece. Each side has its own nuances and glaze imperfections, making the object unique. Perfect as a standalone decoration on a console, in a wall niche, a bookshelf, or in combination with antique stoneware and ethnographic objects. It has a very beautiful decorative presence despite its compact size. In good antique condition with signs of age, irregularities from firing, wear, and small usage defects consistent with the piece's age. Authentic patina preserved.
