Scheurich vase 495-20 W. Germany vintage 70s – ceramic

Superb vintage ceramic vase-pitcher from the German manufacturer Scheurich, model 495-20, produced in West Germany in the 1960s-1970s. Its generous and rounded shape is enhanced by an elegant handle and a flared neck. The piece is particularly distinguished by its beautiful speckled and nuanced glazing, transitioning gradually from cream and beige at the top to deep brown tones towards the base. A lovely piece of West German Pottery, characteristic of Mid-Century European design, equally decorative on its own or used as a vase with fresh or dried flowers. The underside bears the original moulded inscriptions: 495-20. W.GERMANY Very good overall vintage condition.
