Pot in grey and blue Alsace sandstone

Pretty pot in gray sandstone, decorated with motifs of a beautiful bright blue, typical of traditional alsatian ceramics, which is also called sandstone with alsace salt because the vitrification that makes the container waterproof, is done with salt. It is a craft work. Its simple shape, without a cove, makes it a fairly original model. It is in relatively good condition, no crack, but two splinters on the high rim, they are not very visible because the sandstone is of the same gray color as the enamelling (which is called the covered in the case of sandstones). It is 11 cm high, 14 cm in diameter and weighs 940 g.
