Phone table with leather writing surface and storage compartment

Period: ca. 1950. A small playful and functional table. This phone table can be used as a side table or as a small desk that can store paperwork and office items. The writing surface has a green leather and can be lifted to reveal a storage compartment in which there is a removable sliding box. The cabinet rests on four fluted legs. It is made of mahogany wood (veneer). Status: good. Solid. The leather writing surface is in old condition. Repairs were carried out on both front feet (see photo); they were repaired properly and the article is solid (someone probably sat on the writing surface, which is not recommended!) Dimensions: 60.5 cm long, 59.5 cm high, 38 cm height writing surface, 40 cm wide, ± 9 kg.
