Travel side table

It's difficult to give a brief description of this lovely folding travel display table... It's likely a tea table, with a glass top that unfolds to reveal a card table. Everything folds and retracts, legs and drawer included, making it easy to travel with. It seems its last owner was the great-granddaughter of Count Benoît de Boigne, born in 1751 and died in 1830 in Chambéry. This table may have traveled with this great adventurer and expert on India. Inside the drawer, besides a few old playing cards, is a receipt for 34 francs for a debt from 1899. It's in good condition, apart from some minor veneer loss and a few scratches on the glass (defects shown in the last photos). Dimensions: 70 x 46 cm. Height: 64 cm.
