Rare extendable dining table by Hans J. Wegner for Andreas Tuck, Denmark, 1960s (marked). The table features a teak top resting on an oak structure, combining warmth and structure in a way typical of Wegner's mid-century designs. The model is marked and showcases refined woodworking details such as gently rounded edges, sculpted transitions at the apron, and elegantly tapered legs. The tabletop has been refinished and presents a rich, even hue. The two extensions slide smoothly from beneath the main top, extending the length from 142 cm to a total of 252 cm (each extension 55 cm). This makes it a very functional family table while maintaining a refined and minimalist profile. An excellent example of Wegner's collaboration with the cabinetmaker Andreas Tuck, known for the quality of its joinery and timeless craftsmanship. Overall excellent condition, ready for daily use. A solid investment piece in Scandinavian modern design, and this piece is also marked underneath, see photos.
