Mid-century extendable folding dining table in oak, 1950s-1960s. Square when closed, rectangular when open, it expands from 80 to 160 cm in length and comfortably seats up to six guests. Materials: solid oak base, oak veneer top, brass hinges. Features: the top unfolds to double its surface area. When closed, it has a dark chevron-patterned face; when open, it reveals a light oak with marked grain. The four tapered legs and slim apron signify the French design of the Reconstruction era. A modular dining or kitchen table, suitable for small spaces. Renovation: this vintage dining table has been fully sanded. Its top has been stained dark brown due to an indelible stain. The entire piece has been protected with a clear matte varnish. Finally, the table has undergone some repairs to the legs. Dimensions: L80 x D80 x H76.5. Height under the apron: 63. Two tables in one, with a sleek design, comfortable in both vintage and contemporary interiors.
