Vintage storage unit on compass legs by SAM Circa 50's/60's

Vintage storage unit/sideboard resting on long compass legs, by the manufacturer sam, circa 1950-60. This storage unit is made of beech wood, with a very beautiful golden oak veneer finish. It has an open top storage compartment on the left side, with a removable shelf (see photos). At one time this compartment had a door, which was removed by its previous owner. However, we think that open space is not only practical, but actually improves the overall appearance of the room. Below, there are 2 functional drawers, clean with their original brass-colored drawer handles, wrapped in black scoubidou. On the right side, there is high storage, with an adjustable and removable shelf door, with its key original (see photos). Finally, the superb shark fin design of the side panels with rounded edges, combined with the long compass feet, give this piece a real touch of elegance, lightness and height to the whole. Whether used in an entryway, living room, bedroom, dining room, etc., this piece will attract everyone's attention. The piece is in very good original and vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, the top, the shelves, the side panels, the borders and the feet (see photos.) a small loss under the lower part of the piece, right side (see photo). Slight signs of age and previous use on the back of the right side (see photo.) the manufacturer's mark is present and the original assembly instructions can be found on the back of the piece (see photo.).
