Set of six Coquillage chairs designed by Pierre Guariche in the 1950s. These chairs, featuring white fibreglass shells, were briefly reissued by Maisons du Monde. Each chair bears the designer's signature. Pierre Guariche was a renowned French designer, interior decorator, and architect, known for his innovative furniture and lighting designs. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs and was a member of the Union des artistes modernes (UAM). These chairs show normal signs of wear for their age and use, including slight marks on the edges and seat, which give them a unique patina and character.
