"Palm Trees" floor lamp, Christian Techoueyres for Maison Jansen, gilded brass, 1970s – France

Excellent floor lamp, palm tree design, by Christian Techoueyres for Maison Jansen, France, 1970s. It features a sculptural design in hand-cut and welded brass, shaped like palm leaves with finely serrated edges. The design combines, in an avant-garde style, naturalistic details with a bold decorative presence, characteristic of Maison Jansen's production during this period. Hidden among the leaves are six small bulbs that, when lit, cast a warm light through the perforated brass. A piece of great design and sophisticated elegance, bringing refinement and exclusivity to any space.
