Rare and spectacular "Palm" floor lamp by Aldo Tura, made in Italy circa 1960. Entirely crafted from sculpted solid wood, it features a tall shaft mimicking the trunk of a palm tree, adorned with relief patterns and resting on a wide sculpted circular base. The upper part unfolds into an impressive crown of sculpted and polychrome wooden palm leaves, worked in various shades of green and brown. At the centre, the lighting is dressed with a cylindrical parchment shade, held by a fine metal structure and diffusing a warm light through the foliage. With its height of 180 cm and very sculptural silhouette, this floor lamp is a particularly decorative piece, characteristic of Aldo Tura's exotic and sophisticated universe.
