Borge Mogensen Pair of 3251 Safari Dining Chairs for Fredericia 1968

Great pair of model 3251 Safari dining chairs, designed by Borge Mogensen in 1968 for Fredericia Stolefabrik Denmark. This model is slightly different from the model 3237 and was originally always upholstered in canvas unlike model 3237 that was always in leather. This pair comes from the 1970s and is reupholstered with a very strong off white/cream canvas, that looks very fresh. The structure is made of solid oak. Timeless Danish design chairs. The chairs are in very good condition. The canvas is new. The frames have some normal wear and have little colour difference. For 1 chair the tiny rods that hold the backrest in its place are not original, as visible in the last photo.
