Vintage Oriental Tableware Geisha Girl: 10-piece coffee set. The red stamp at the bottom shows the Kanji characters 大日本 (Dai Nippon), which can be translated as Great Japan. The Dai Nippon brand was primarily used during the Meiji era (1868-1912) and continued into the early decades of the 20th century (circa 1900-1930). It reflects the rise of nationalism and the growth of porcelain exports to the West during that time. Geisha Girl tableware with an authentic red iron Dai Nippon stamp.
