Coffee/tea service, glazed porcelain in Art Deco style, Saint Graal model.

Art Deco tea and coffee service, made of glazed porcelain. This is the "Saint Graal" model, produced by the Limoges factory (sometimes made by other renowned factories of the time such as Bavaria or Richard Ginori). Fine white porcelain enhanced with a decoration in solid silver, or 980 thousandths silver. The very graphic plant motifs and scrolls are typical of the 1920s to 1930s. The black or dark patina visible on the reliefs is the natural result of silver oxidation over the decades, giving it its vintage charm. A meticulous polishing can restore its original silver shine. The lot includes a large jug (teapot/coffee pot), a milk jug (creamer), a sugar bowl, and 6 cups with their matching saucers.
