Vintage 19th-century bistro chair in curved solid wood, Thonet style.

Antique bistro chair made of bent wood. It is a typical model from the late 19th century or the first half of the 20th century, inspired by the famous productions of firms such as Thonet, Kohn (J. & J. Kohn), or Fischel and Baumann. It features the emblematic technique of steam-bent solid wood (the rear legs and the circular support under the seat). The backrest has turned spindles shaped like balusters, framed by two worked uprights topped with small caps (or finials). The seat is made of thermoformed wood veneer. It is in good condition and sturdy. Width 42 cm, depth 48 cm, height 95/49 cm.
