Very beautiful small Limoges porcelain ball vase by Camille Tharaud, antique, circa 1920-1940, probably 1930s, in modernist art nouveau style. Stamped under the base Tharaud, France, Limoges, with two incised inscriptions (mold mark, decorator's mark). Porcelain with nuanced white/beige glaze, decorated with stylized fern leaves as fiddleheads, in shades of brown, hazelnut, pale brown and peacock green/dark turquoise. Small, short, upturned neck with peacock green/dark turquoise border. Height 14.5-15 cm, maximum diameter approximately 14.5-15 cm. Very good overall condition, no chips, no cracks, some scratches and small discreet abrasions. Weight approximately 500-600 g.
