Very beautiful small round vase in Limoges porcelain by Camille Tharaud, antique, circa 1920-1940, probably from the 1930s, in a modernist Art Nouveau style. Stamped under the base Tharaud, France, Limoges, as well as two incised inscriptions (mould mark, decorator's mark). Porcelain with a white/beige nuanced glaze, decorated with stylised fern leaves in the shape of violin heads, rising from the base to the top, in shades of brown, hazelnut, light brown, and peacock/turquoise green. Small short neck with a peacock/turquoise green rim as well. Height 14.5-15 cm, maximum diameter approximately 14.5-15 cm. Very good overall condition, no chips, no cracks, but some very discreet scratches and small abrasions. Weight approximately 500-600 g.
