Set of 4 silver-plated enameled metal bowls by Carl F. Christiansen

A beautiful vintage piece from the 1950s/60s. This is a set of four small dishes, in their original box, made of silver-plated metal with enameled tops, Made in Denmark. Each dish features a different colored enamel (blue, green, yellow, red). Carl F. Christiansen (whose hallmark and monogram are found on the bottom of the dishes) was a Danish master silversmith whose creations date from between 1943 and 1963. He worked extensively with curved and rounded forms and frequently used enamel to add vibrant colors to his designs. These four superb petal-shaped dishes will make a stunning decorative addition and bring a touch of Scandinavian design to your home. The enamel retains some of its original variations.
