Limoges porcelain plate - signed G. Dumas - hand-painted

Limoges porcelain plate. Work by Georges Dumas, signed by his hand. A lot of finesse and delicacy in the gilded foliage, perfectly highlighted by the matte black background. Flowers with a soft bluish sheen. A rare piece of superb quality. Note two small chips, very minimally visible on the rim, one of which is probably from the manufacturing process as it is covered with original gilding. (See photos).
