Wall-mounted bookcase consisting of 5 X 60 cm wooden shelves and 2 black lacquered metal ladders to be fixed to the wall. By Swedish designer Nils Strinning. 1950s-1960s A flexible, lightweight system that is easy to disassemble and transport. Iconic element of Scandinavian design. Each shelf has 4 fixing rings for the metal ladders. The extremely stable shelves (2 kg each) support heavy books of all sizes. The space between the shelves is adjustable for large books. The original raw solid wood has been covered with a very elegant black material reproducing the grooves of the wood. Very spacious storage (total storage capacity of 300 cm).
