A simple yet elegant, two-bay wall unit in teak designed by kai kristiansen in the 60s and manufactured by fm mobler - validated by a label on the shelf. Functional secretaire with an inner drawer and compartments composed with an additional desk shelf will create a discreet home office space in a living room or bedroom. Five shelves provide enough place for books and decorations. The wall unit features brilliant carpentry and rich teak grain. It is a great example of danish carpentry skills from mid 20th century. This set consists of: 5 shelves 18 cm deep. A secretaire/ bar cabinet h: 36 / w: 85, 5/ d: 34 cm ( fully open - 66 cm deep ) A desk shelf 40 cm deep. 3 painted metal rails 149, 5 cm long. The wall unit has been checked by our team. We have made sure that all the mechanisms work properly. On many occasions, we have to sand down and refinish the most used parts (if they are scratched badly). Here we have only rejuvenated the wood with danish oil. We leave minor signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it's originality. We try to bring furniture back to its best look, still considering they are 60 years old. Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits. If you are new to vintage furniture, you can contact us for any possible explanations and close-ups of the piece. Overall, fantastic condition with minor traces of use.
