Pair chevets Louis XV marble breccia Violette

Magnificent pair of curved rococo bedside tables in louis XV style marquetry with rosewood decoration. Decorated with many gilded bronzes and surmounted by a thick marble purple breccia top. The violet breccia marble comes from the serravezza quarry in italy. This marble is used at the palace of versailles and the opera garnier. Bedside tables in excellent condition, some slight traces on the varnish in some places, see photos, work of the second half of the twentieth century. Dimensions 49 X 74 X 29 cm.
