Old Blue Glass Apothecary Jar - Tinct: Cinamm

Superb vintage pharmacy bottle in blue glass, with a cork stopper. It has a label on which it says “tinct cinamm”. “tinct cinamm” is an abbreviation for “tinctura cinnamomi”, which means cinnamon tincture in latin. This preparation was used in traditional medicine for its antiseptic, antispasmodic and stimulating properties. This apothecary jar has retained some traces of its experience but has its place in a cabinet of curiosities, and will add a deliciously retro touch to your interior. H 26.5 X d 10.5 cm vpc 2024-06.
