Large Semi Pendant Lamp by Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup for Fog & Mørup

This original "semi" or „which hat“ pendant lamps was designed by the prolific danish designers claus bonderup and torsten thorup and produced by fog & mørup in the early 1970s in denmark. This iconic and timeless design classic is a prime example of the longstanding and award winning collaboration of these two designers who designed this lamp when they were still students. The lamp was punched into its shape out of a sheet of metal. This large version measures 60cm in diameter and is 31cm high. The top is painted in a glossy black, the inside of the lamp shade is matte white. Still the original vintage painting. The lamp is in good vintage condition with light traces of use in the form of light scratches and some small marks on the edge of the lamp shade. When installed this is almost not noticeable.
