Pair of Baumann seat chairs, Argos models

Superb and rare pair of armchairs seats curule baumann, argos models. Around 1980. They both carry a baumann label located under the seat. Rare model. In their juices, they are in very good general condition. Made of beech wood varnished in a pretty honey hue, they bear traces of the past time that contribute to give them a beautiful patina. There are small jumps of varnish on the sides of the armrests and feet, small scratches, small and slight traces of cigarette burns on an armrest, small repairs at the upper part of the backrest (see all photos). It lacks the cushions that were certainly to clip on the seat as evidenced by the 4 round holes visible on both seats. However, these two armchairs remain very aesthetic, stable and robust. There are no accidents except for the traces of time noted above. Width: 61 cm. Total height: 94 cm. Depth: 51 cm. Seat height: 44 cm.
