Glazed chamotte clay plaque in grey-green and black, decorated with a rower, by the French ceramist Jean Linard (1931-2010). A rare piece in the ceramist's work. The glazed plaque is framed in a black steel chassis, equipped with a hook on the back for wall mounting. Overall in good condition. Oxidation of the frame, slight barely visible chip on the plaque, without consequence on the overall solidity. Jean Linard was a French ceramist, painter, sculptor, engraver, and architect who worked notably in the village of La Borne in France, a famous pottery centre for 500 years.
