Børge Mogensen was one of the iconic figures of Danish modernism. A student of Kaare Klint, he is the author of some of the most notable creations in Scandinavian design, such as the "Spanish Chair" (1958), the "People's Chair" (1947), and the "BM1 Chair" (1958) presented here. Mogensen's work is characterised by its functionality, minimalism, and comfort. A constant principle in his work is to value traditional craftsmanship through the use of high-quality natural materials. The four chairs offered are made of solid oak and feature a seat made of paper cord. The structures are in good condition. The weaving shows no damage, although it bears visible signs of use. The four chairs are marked with the manufacturer's original stamp on their underside.
