Tobacco pot in glazed terracotta with naturalistic decoration, animals and plants in relief from the end of the 19th century. The taste for nature, the return to a simple life, the observation of fauna and flora, a whole school of thought is present in this unusual object. Two tree stumps, one a tobacco pot, the other for matches, on a base of forest earth where slow worms crawl and frogs croak. We can almost smell the scent of rain and wet plants, the match scraper on the right side. On a desk, it can easily be used as a pencil pot and accessories for a country decor. Height: 11cm length: 14.5cm width: 14cm weight: 550gr.
