Here is a lovely enamelled terracotta pot (most likely puisaye stoneware) with enamelling in soft, natural tones: pinkish beige, light caramel with white "drips", is charming. All this bears witness to beautiful artisanal work in throwing, shaping and enamelling, which closely resembles the work of pierre lion who produced, in addition to more artistic pieces, utilitarian tableware with this deliberately rustic aspect, highlighting "the handmade" until 1978 when his workshop closed. Although I found the whole thing like this, I have a little doubt that the lid is the original one, the clay is the same, but the enamelling is slightly lighter (but this can happen if the two elements were fired in two batches). This pot probably dates from the 50s to 70s when these natural colours were very fashionable. It is in very good condition, not even a chip. It measures 15.5 cm in width from one handle to the other, approximately 13 cm in maximum diameter, 7 cm in height and approximately 8.5 cm in height with the lid.
