Cake plate from the french earthenware factory creil et montereau, "japan" service in slightly blue enameled earthenware composed of a round plate and ending with a pedestal, both decorated with plum trees, cherry trees and blue chrysanthemums running around the edge, the bottom of the plate and forming a frieze on the foot. Also called "monet", this service was produced from 1876 and testifies to the great influence of japan at that time. This cake plate, bearing the creil et montereau stamp of 1895 below, is in very good general condition since it has no cracks or chips. Ideal for joining your table, it will bring a vintage and japanese touch to your decoration.
