19th century Indian wooden coffee table

Antique Indian cart coffee table – Rajasthan 19th century – teak, wrought iron and brass. Authentic coffee table made from the top of an old bullock cart from Rajasthan (North India), late 19th / early 20th century. Solid teak with a superb patina, original hammered and hand-engraved wrought iron rim, decorative brass rosettes, curved legs and period harness handles. A unique piece, very decorative, that structures a living room: it pairs well with both classic interiors and contemporary furniture or Berber rugs and kilims. Dimensions: approximately 97 cm X 116 cm (top) height 31 cm (top). Very good condition, perfectly stable structure, wear and patinas consistent with age that add to its charm.
