Rising coffee table Guillerme and Chambron circa 1960

Rising coffee table by the lille designer duo guillerme and chambron in oak with a top decorated with sixteen enamelled tiles by ceramist boleslaw danikowski. These tiles feature a varied décor of birds, fish, butterflies, horses, ceramics, plants, female faces and stylized horses. After training at the school of fine arts in lille, boleslaw danikowski worked as an art potter and ceramist in a small village in the north of france. Part of his production is integrated into the furniture of the decorators guillerme and chambron (votre maison). Independent creator and always inventive, he was followed by a loyal clientele and realized some public commissions. He was also involved in photography during the last ten years of his life.
