Large jam maker of the late nineteenth century, solid walnut, empire style, fully pegged. Superb tray, 1 large fruit wood drawer, empire style brass button. Closet with brass lock entrance, matching the button, with functional key. Sanded and varnished interior. Very old furniture, restored in the past, respecting its time. This jam maker has some traces of time that emphasize its authenticity, but no particular defect to note. The fittings are not original but old. Beautiful patina of time, veins and nuanced hues, everything we love about walnut. Nice condition for this charming jam maker, treated 3 times against insects. Inside drawer: 55 X 39x 10 cm.
