Pair of Empire style eagle head wall lights - bronze Lucien GAU, Paris

Beautiful pair of Empire style 1-light sconces, by the famous French bronzier: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer from the Faubourg Saint Antoine, in Paris. Made in the second half of the 20th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding and patina, good condition. The light arm is in the shape of an oil lamp, with an eagle's head; very original. Electricity installed and tested, new electrical system (for E14 bulb). Cardboard candle, very good condition. They are stamped on the back: LG, for Lucien Gau (see last photo).
