Monumental library in solid Asian teak, in English colonial style, acquired 20 years ago and has remained in the same family since. Dimensions: L 305 cm × H 230 cm × D 43 cm. Composition: 3 bays separated by fluted pilasters, adjustable shelves, lower part closed by 6 panelled doors with locks, moulded cornice. Brass rail along the entire length with its original sliding ladder. Important point: the whole unit can be completely disassembled into 6 modules, making transport and passage through stairs quite manageable (contrary to what the photo suggests). Simple reassembly, I will explain the principle on the day of collection. Condition: very good overall condition and perfectly sound structure. Signs of use and some marks of time on the top and shelves, consistent with the age of the furniture — nothing that could not be addressed after cleaning and applying teak oil. Ideal furniture for a library, office, shop, or reception area with high ceilings (minimum 2.40 m required). Collection on site in Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets, please plan for 2 to 4 people and a van.
