Hartmann cabin trunk

Here is a trunk "dressing" or "cabin" magnificent, both in its silhouette and in its interior. It belongs to this fashion of the years 1900-1920, which allowed to travel by taking the precious clothes, in peace. It holds remarkably well, standing, closed or open. Here is a centenary in beautiful condition especially since nothing is missing! This wardrobe ("wardrobe", wardrobe or wardrobe) is made from a wooden box draped in an interior fabric of discreet blue color. On the right, there are several different storages: 3 beautiful drawers (including 1 with shoes), each with its own inner closure. The whole secured by a key closure (present) on the smallest of the 3 as well as a mechanical lock for the 2 large. The small drawer (2 boxes), will accommodate precious or delicate objects. This left half (hidden with 1 fabric whose halos tell the storms crossed!) has a hinged lid lined with padded velvet and opens upwards to allow better access to the hangers. Halfway up, a bar that unlocks, allows to fix the suspended clothes during transport to avoid "ragping".
