Large farmhouse table in solid pine – Auvergne, around 1900

Large farmhouse table made of solid pine, originating from Auvergne and dating from around 1900. Its wide top is made of beautiful old planks, worn by time, with pronounced grain and lovely signs of use that give it all its authentic charm. The edges remain straight, true to the simple and functional spirit of rural furniture. The apron, plain and sturdy, supports a slightly overhanging top. The legs rest on four straight and solid feet, connected by a system of original lateral and diagonal stretchers, typical of farmhouse tables designed to last.
