Napoleon III style roll-top bureau

Cod: 10054. French bureau from the first half of the 20th century. Napoleon III style furniture inlaid with geometric decorations in mahogany and fruitwood, frontally adorned with a romantic painting with characters of great pleasure. Roll-top bureau equipped with 6 external drawers plus 3 internal drawers and pull-out desk top (see photo) of good size and service. Top covered in fabric with some small signs of wear (see photos). Furniture of great elegance, finished from the center, complete with marble top embedded in the upper part (see photo). Original marble that has undergone a conservative restoration (see photo) now in good condition. Upper top with ring in gilded and chiseled brass (see photo). Bureau richly adorned with bronze and gilded and chiseled brass (see photo). Left rear leg that has a dark spot (see photo) at the height of the upper bronze. Furniture of excellent proportion, ideal to be placed in a bedroom or living room, for antique dealers and interior decorators. Complete with a working key (of the fall-front), missing the key of the lower drawers. It shows small signs of wear, structurally sound, overall in a fair conservative state.
