18th century Venetian sloping desk with green patinated grotesque decoration

Magnificent and rare Venetian bureau de pente/secretaire from the end of the 18th century. Pale green patina with a pretty decoration of grotesques and arabesques in Bologna red. Body of the furniture in soft wood, in Venetian larch. A precise examination of the lacquer allows to establish that it is absolutely authentic and original, composed of vegetable pigments, plaster and egg white (no artificial binder in the 18th century). Height: 95 cm. Length: 112 cm. Depth (closed): 47 cm. Accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
