Solid oak farmhouse table, 1970s
Maison Lecan presents this 1970s farmhouse table made of solid oak. A traditionally crafted table, designed in the style of the great French farmhouse tables, with a top measuring 225 cm in length. Its strong point is the tabletop. Wide oak planks with a well-defined grain give the table presence without making it heavy. The base rests on four squared legs, softened with chamfers and stopped flutes, connected by a moulded H-shaped stretcher. At the corners, period metal brackets reinforce the assembly between the apron and the legs. It does not budge an inch. It has been fully restored in our workshop and finished with a satin varnish. The oak is protected for everyday use while maintaining a natural appearance. It comfortably seats eight guests, three on each side and one at each end. With a good height under the apron of 63 cm, one can sit comfortably on classic chairs. Dimensions: Length 225 cm, Depth 78.5 cm, Height 75 cm / Height under apron: 63 cm. Ref LDP: 20260317-002.
