Having become a linen spinning mill by citizen deneef who was not successful, the site was taken over a little later by two employees of the prestigious vonêche crystal factory, françois kemlin and auguste lelièvre. The first furnace was activated in june 1826. The manufacturing of the crystal is of absolute superior quality “made in belgium”. Since then, she has become world famous.
