Antique ceramic ashtray by "Louis Dage"

Very pretty old ceramic ashtray stamped L.Dage by the ceramist Louis Dage. It is gray in color with blue and orange decorations. Period: early 20th century (1920/1930). Very good used condition with slight traces of wear and tear (no cracks or chips) The photos serve as a description. History: Louis DAGE (1885 - 1961) On an administrative form, he is listed as the "painter on earthenware". During the declaration of birth of his daughter, he is considered as "decorator on earthenware". Creation of a joint earthenware factory with Louis Fontinelle (1886-1964) in Antony, near Paris.
