Art ceramics from the Ricard house from the 1950s, a signed piece, refined and elegant, perfect for collecting and displaying. This vintage ashtray with an abstract floral design can also be used as a catch-all or centrepiece. Did you know: Originally, the purpose of the Ricard ceramic workshops created by Paul Ricard on the island of Bendor in 1950 and in Castellet (Var) was to produce non-industrial advertising pieces for "L'Anisette Ricard". The ceramic workshop, led by Paul Reboul, who created the first water jug designed by Paul Ricard in 1935, produced numerous models of ashtrays, jugs, etc., intended for café owners. A more artistic production of decorative objects was offered as part of public relations. This production later expanded to art ceramics where many artists would work and sign their pieces, as at the Cerenne workshop (Vallauris). When the company opened to visitors, the ceramic workshop, along with the very spectacular bottling room, became one of the most appreciated places. Materials: Glazed ceramic. Colour: Raspberry / Blue / Brown. Height: 8 cm. Diameter: 19 cm. Opening diameter: 9.5 cm. Item signed by the Ricard Ceramic workshop – O. Congiu Spronk. Very good condition.
