Fajalauza Mug

Fajalauza mug, traditional pottery from Granada, Andalusia (Spain). They take their name from the Fajalauza district, located on the heights of the city, where the kilns and manufacturing workshops were historically located since the 16th century. Ceramic that has its roots in the Hispano-Moorish tradition, which combines Andalusian and Islamic influences. White enamel with a painted decoration, cobalt blue, and green of stylized flowers and a pomegranate fruit symbol of the city. Good condition, irregularities of the enamel linked to the artisanal character. Height: 8 cms. Diameter at the widest point: 9 cms.
