J1 ceiling lamp by Isamu Noguchi for Akari 1980s

The j1 noguchi ceiling lamp is a modern light sculptural pendant lamp - its form is a harmonious blend of japanese handcraft and modernist design form. As intended this lamp folds up and can easily be shipped safely. It is marked with the designs signature alongside red sun and moon forms. In good vintage condition. Minimal signs of age and use only such as a few tiny holes only visible on very close inspection and some light foxing in places (again only visible upon closer inspection).
