Haussmannian door 72.7x221cm with an old glazed transom frame chassis.

Beautiful communication door measuring 72.7cm by 221cm (and 3cm thick), opening to the right, with a glass transom, painted beige on one side and in various colours on the other, having been sealed off at one time, with its completely disassembled frame where the uprights "protrude" 7cm below and 24.5cm above the transom frame. The top was "inserted" at ceiling level, allowing for the insertion of bricks or a panel above the transom to maintain its full height, with the bottom fixed into the joists of a floor. The protruding frames at the top and bottom allow for easy adaptation to any type of flooring: parquet, underfloor heating, tiles, etc. Adaptable in dimensions to the height of its frame. All from the 19th century, of Haussmannian style, moulded identically on both sides. The carpentry assembly is classic with flat panelled sections, mortise and tenon joints, and dowels. Fine and elegant mouldings in the door frame, replicated on the frames. Solid and substantial carpentry, with a door thickness of 3cm, a frame of 50mm, and a frame with mouldings 11cm thick on the painted side and 7cm on the left. The moulded frame measures 90cm by 272cm (from the top of the painted frame to below the skirting boards). This door and its carefully disassembled frame are previously painted, not warped, the door closes properly, and despite a few rare scratches, some areas where the paint is flaking and missing glazing putty at the transom level, visible in the photos, are in very good condition, disassembled and stored safely. This door is equipped with its lock (we do not have the key...) and a cleanliness plate.
