Magnificent cane lounge chair called a “deck chair”, linked to the world of ocean liners. It dates from the 30s to the 50s. The canework of the seat has just been redone by a craftswoman specializing in traditional canework, which consists of knitting the threads one by one, by hand. A patina has also been applied to harmonize with the rest. The entire deck chair was sanded, stripped bare, then stained and varnished (matte teak varnish). It is a very beautiful work of wood, assembly and canework. Practical because it is foldable. And above all very elegant. We can imagine it under an old glass roof, surrounded by plants! Height 112 (or 40 for the seat from the ground), l187 (with unfolded footrest), width 87.5 (from armrest to armrest). 64 cm not including armrests.
